Since the Company’s inception in late 2002, we have inter alia conducted acoustic surveys of orange roughy from commercial vessels in New Zealand, Chile and Ireland, and experimental acoustic work on pelagic fish, horse mackerel and squid for a number of research organisations and fishing companies in the Southern African region. In the course of the surveys we have carried out sphere calibrations of echo-sounders and noise trials on numerous research and commercial vessels, both locally and abroad.
